The village hall, opened in September 2005, in the picturesque village of Petham, situated 4 miles south of Canterbury, is a much sought after venue. Just a few metres from the lovely country church of All Saints with a view across rolling countryside, the hall has gained the Hallmark III award for its facilities and management.

The hall is available to hire throughout the year for:

• parties (particularly for children)
• weddings and other family celebrations
• business events
• charity functions
• training courses
• and more!

Performances of drama, song, dance and other arts together with concerts, jazz evenings and various arts company bookings are all possible. Stage Lighting, a Removable Stage, Audio System and a Projector are available so that performers can enhance their shows.

If you are looking for a venue to hold a conference or training session then we have everything you need. There are two halls, which can be joined into one large area, that can seat up to 150 people theatre style. The hall has a PA System and an Overhead Projector as well as Wi-Fi internet access. There is also an additional room with meeting tables and an overhead projector for small groups or committee meetings.

Petham is a particularly beautiful venue for wedding receptions, whether the bridal couple marry in the All Saints Church or elsewhere. The hall has everything to make the reception memorable including a fully fitted kitchen for self-catering or outside caterers with space for about 130 guests.

The hire charges are very competitive whether for shows, weddings, conferences, courses, parties, etc. Slots are available for regular or one-off bookings throughout the year during weekdays and at weekends.
